Nonprofit Grant Program

Triangle Youth Ballet

Conquest Graphics has been our go to printer for 15 years. We believe that the medium is part of the message and Conquest Graphics tells that story.

Ballet is what we do and ballet is about the details of presentation. Our productions are as professional as possible and our playbills and posters (and postcards and flyers and souvenir bookmarks) are too, thanks to Conquest Graphics.

Triangle Youth Ballet is a school for young dancers from ages 3 through to adult and a performing company that mounts at least three productions each year.

If we awarded the Conquest Graphics Grant we would like to try a year long direct mail marketing campaign to promote our school as well as bring in new audience members to our theatrical productions.  We have never done this before. It may be a game changer that we would not attempt without this grant.

Here is our proposed use: For our school, letter in a coordinating envelope telling people about our program with an enclosed stuffer outlining our offerings for the fall.

For each of our productions, a postcard announcement with qr code for tickets.

And for our gala fundraiser, a save the date brochure listing silent auction items, entertainment, and available sponsorships. Of course it will also state our goal to support the Tchaikovsky Virtuosi, our live orchestra for our Nutcracker. Proceeds from our gala also support our need-based tuition assistance and male merit scholarships. This brochure would be followed by a coordinating but more formal invitation.

Whether a student in our pre-ballet classes or a student-performer with our company, dance classes build life long skills of working together, team building, taking responsibility for always trying your best, time management and goal setting. We feel the study of ballet not only teaches an art form and provides exercise, it is an avenue to building a strong work ethic and people who can appreciate that each one of us is a part of a bigger whole.

Established in 1995, specifically to produce a Nutcracker for local dancers from throughout the community and we quickly grew to opening a school, expanding our repertoire and adding a live orchestra to our Nutcracker. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a member of the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits.
